Resort is visually attractive but close to the main road. The staff was very friendly and willing to help. The food is, apart from the splendid Italian restaurant, of poor quality with the morning buffet and the Japanese sushi being particularly disappointing.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable apart from the bed pillows which are about the size of postage stamps! One day the room maid simply made up the bed but did nothing else, the bathroom was left as it was and the coffee cups were not cleaned.
The pool is large and clean and the hot tub is kept really hot.
Lots of activities for children with the 'explorers club' looking after children from 9:00am until quite late in the evening.
The tennis pro who gives lessons to adults and children is absolutely first class.
If you want to go into the town, a cab costs $6 per person each way, or $25 each way whichever is more.
The resort is on the Sea of Cortez and there is no swimming in the sea, ever! Vendors on the beach were pests
