Visited recently with my mother who has difficulty walking. Was looking forward to seeing the grounds but discovered a small sign by one of the footpaths saying 'not suitable for wheelchairs' The room was nice but was
supposed to have a patio which was actually two chairs and a table on the pavement outside under a leaky gutter and facing the car park. the dining
hall was extremely busy and loud and it was suggested to us that a temporary table may be more suitable for accessibility but this was sited
next to a wooden screen and too close to the next table. After suffering two
meals there I requested a move and was totally shocked by the restaurant managers offensive comment and attitude. We persisted however and were then given the table originally scheduled which was an improvement.
To cap it off there was no hot water in the room from Thursday afternoon until leaving the following day!
